Because OEKO-TEX® is an independent certification body:The STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is totally independent of manufacturers and public bodies. OEKO-TEX® is a certification system for raw, semi-finished and finished textile products at all processing levels. OEKO-TEX® has screened all components of TAMPAX products (absorbent core, fabric coating the absorbent core, cord, applicator and thread) to detect the presence of undesirable substances. TAMPAX Compak, Cotton Comfort, Pearl and Cardboard have all been tested, verified and certified.
